The team at Wealthvest Investment Management leverages on-the-ground research and deep local market expertise to identify investment prospects. We are confident that our capabilities in stock picking, alongside rigorous portfolio construction and risk management methodologies, will yield superior risk-adjusted returns in the long run.
Expectations investing
Our investment philosophy and process is based on expectations investing, where we believe that expectations around company earnings, and earnings growth drive positive or negative returns over time.
Process driven
Our process is based on “Opportunity at the right price” (ORP). This methodology allows for a range of investable companies to be considered depending on the market cycle. By not categorizing companies into ‘buckets’ such as “growth”, “quality”, “value”, etc. allows for a dedicated focus on each companies’ fundamentals and merits on a standalone basis.
Fundamentals
Fundamental work through the application of ‘key drivers’ is important to understand the business. Items such as Revenue growth, gross profit and operating margins, and tax rates are some key aspects to understand, especially when there are abnormalities or companies face structural changes.
